Abstrak Sektor pariwisata merupakan salah satu sektor berbasis jasa yang sangat potensial dan strategis dalam membantu meningkatkan perekonomian nasional dan daerah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) Menganalisis peran sektor pariwisata dalam pembentukan output, permintaan antara, permintaan akhir, dan nilai tambah brutoProvinsi Kalimantan Utara, (2) Menganalisis keterkaitan sektor pariwisata dengan sektor-sektor lainnya di Provinsi Kalimantan Utara, (3) Menganalisis dampak dan pengaruh penyebaran sektor pariwisata terhadap sektor lainnya, dan (4) Menganalisis efek multiplier output, multiplier pendapatan, dan multiplier tenaga kerja sektor pariwisata dalam perekonomian Provinsi Kalimantan Utara. Penelitian ini menggunakan Analisis Input-Output dari Tabel Input-Output Provinsi Provinsi Kalimantan Utara dengan diagreasi 17 sektor. Berdasarkan hasil analisis Input-Output, sektor pariwisata dengan nilai terbesar adalah perdagangan besar dan eceran; reparasi mobil dan sepeda motor, sektor transportasi dan pergudangan, sektor penyediaan akomodasi dan makan minum dan sektor informasi dan komunikasi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, untuk sektor pariwisata yang tergolong dalam sektor kunci adalah sektor perdagangan besar, eceran dan transportasi. Dampak kegiatan pariwisata menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang positif terhadap perekonomian dengan adanya kenaikan output dari investasi di sektor pariwisata, penciptaan pendapatan rumah tangga atau masyarakat, dan penciptaan lapangan kerja ke seluruh sektor perekonomian melalui kegiatan investasi. ABSTRACT The tourism sector is a service-based sector that has great potential and is strategic in helping improve the national and regional economy. This research aims to: (1) Analyze the role of the tourism sector in forming output, intermediate demand, final demand, and gross value added in North Kalimantan Province, (2) Analyze the relationship between the tourism sector and other sectors in North Kalimantan Province, (3) Analyze the impact and influence of the spread of the tourism sector on other sectors, and (4) Analyzing the effects of the output multiplier, income multiplier and labor multiplier in the tourism sector in the economy of North Kalimantan Province. This research uses Input-Output Analysis from the Provincial Input-Output Table for North Kalimantan Province, aggregated by 17 sectors. Based on the results of the Input-Output analysis, the tourism sector with the largest value is wholesale and retail trade; car and motorbike repair, transportation and warehousing sector, accommodation and food and drink provision sector and information and communications sector. Based on the results of the analysis, the tourism sector which is classified as a key sector is the wholesale, retail and transportation sectors. The impact of tourism activities shows that there is a positive relationship to the economy with an increase in output from investment in the tourism sector, the creation of household or community income, and the creation of jobs in all economic sectors through investment activities.
